Improved seating is expected inside Great Yarmouth's £4.7m market revamp.

The bulk of the new marketplace's second phase was completed in mid-September, with traders, including Ros' Fruit and Veg and Dearnos Chips, moving into new units recently.

Currently, benches surround the outside of the open-plan canopy section of the market building, with no seating inside the open area.

"Once finalised, the seating area at Great Yarmouth Market Place will provide a welcoming and vibrant space for visitors to relax and enjoy the bustling atmosphere of the market," the spokesperson added.

More seating and trees are also expected as the market project sees landscaping carried out by the market square.
