A mother-of-four died in hospital after taking an overdose while staying in a women's refuge, an inquest has heard.
Tamlin Hegarty, of Dersingham, died on May 15 in the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. She was 47.
An inquest into her death held in Norwich heard that Ms Hegarty had taken an overdose of medication while she was staying in a women's refuge in King's Lynn.
She was admitted to hospital and was originally planned to be transferred to Addenbrooke's in Cambridge - but her condition deteriorated before this could happen.
The court was told Ms Hegarty had a troubled history of depression, alcohol abuse and post-traumatic stress disorder.
Her partner told a coroner's officer that she was "a formidable woman dealing with a lot of trauma".
He added that she "loved running, swimming and was very focussed".
Senior coroner Jacqueline Lake concluded that her death was suicide.
