Photographers were overjoyed to spot the Northern Lights in the skies above Norfolk last night.
The atmospheric phenomenon, also known as aurora borealis, was visible across the county and in areas of little light pollution for much of the evening.
Zoe Harrowing, from Watton, said: "It's always been on my bucket list to see the Northern Lights.
"When my app alerted red to indicate they were visible, I ran upstairs to see if I could see anything from my bedroom window.

"I am over the moon. I've been able to capture something so beautiful.
"Mother nature is a wonderful thing and I'm hoping this is the first of many times I will see it."
The lights, sometimes visible to the naked eye, are caused by particles from the sun meeting gasses in the Earth's atmosphere that create a colourful glow.
They could also be seen from Burgh Castle near Bradwell on the east coast and Rudham toward north Norfolk.
