An interior design and furnishings shop is set to open a new store in Horning.

The Little Interior Company will launch its new location on November 30 after closing its doors in Aylsham last December.

Run by twin sisters, Fiona and Heather Newsome, the firm sells a range of locally sourced decor and offers a bespoke interior design service.

Fiona said: "I launched the business in 2013 after working in interior design for 17 or 18 years and deciding to come away from the corporate scene.

"Heather was in the RAF but as her contract was coming to an end we had the view that she would leave and join me."

She continued: "There's strength in the pair of us - we're better when we're together so we work really well."

The sisters said they offer everything somebody would want when redesigning their home but describe their favourite style as "country estate" with plenty of grandeur, including big lamps and cabinets.

There are also plenty of shabby chic and homely items on display and the pair enjoy being able to explore a range of designs.

Fiona added: "When a customer allows you to be creative with your work it's great and that's why it's good to have a shop - people can look around and get some ideas and that allows you to let your imagination flow."

Both said they were excited to move into their new location in Horning and praised the area for its picturesque setting.

The Horning store will open on November 30, the same day the village's Christmas lights are switched on.

Opening hours will be finalised closer to the time.

The Coltishall shop can be found at Point House, 5 High Street NR12 7AA.
