A man remains under investigation following his arrest in connection with the rape of a teenage girl in a Norfolk town, police have confirmed.
Police received reports a 17-year-old girl was raped in an alleyway close to Hamilton Road, Great Yarmouth, at about 1am on Tuesday, April 26 last year.
Later the same day a 42-year-old man was arrested in connection with the incident and released under investigation while enquiries continue.
A spokesman for Norfolk police said the man was "still under investigation".
On the day of the incident, the alleyway linking Windsor Avenue and Balmoral Avenue was under police supervision and a cordon was in place.
