There were delays on the A47 earlier due to flooding.

Traffic was moving slowly and queues were building around the Honingham roundabout at Mattishall Road.

Reports have since said the traffic has eased but this video, supplied by Catherine Louise Paisley, shows the water this morning.

The road has faced persistent floods since the heavy rains caused by Storm Babet.

National Highways said earlier this month that fixing the issue was a priority.

Dom Castle, who lives nearby in Colton, said: "Yet again we have the ridiculous situation of vehicles which should be on the A47 squeezing along single carriageway country lanes, wrecking the verges, damaging the road surface and making it difficult for residents of many small villages alongside the A47 to leave their homes and go about their business.

"Frustrating and stressful for drivers too. And the Lord only knows what would happen if the emergency services were needed.

"National Highways, Norfolk County Council and Galliford Try all seem to be shrugging their shoulders - ‘not our problem, mate. It’s them others.’."
