An international removals firm headquartered in Norfolk is celebrating 30 years in business.
Hamiltons Removals, which has a depot in Harleston, specialises in moving everything from pets and horses to vehicles and machinery.
Since launching as a furniture retailer in 1993, the family business – founded by Michael Sawyer along with his father, brother and business partner Paul Walsh – has grown into an international company.
The firm soon expanded from UK removals into the European moving market, with Switzerland being one of its early success stories.
Mr Sawyer, the company’s managing director, said: “We were lucky enough to be put in touch with a really good agent in Geneva who advised and helped us take care of all the red tape involved in shipping to and from Switzerland and we are now among the top three companies in the UK for removals of household goods and effects to Switzerland.”
To celebrate the landmark anniversary, the company is running a 30 day competition, with a new quiz question and prizes going live on their website each week this month.
Mr Sawyer added: “One lucky person who answers the question correctly will win, and the prizes get better and better each week.”
