A fish and chip shop in Norfolk has reached the final round of an esteemed award.
Eric's Fish and Chips in Hunstanton is one of just five left in the running for the Restaurant of the Year prize at the National Fish and Chip Awards.
It must now battle restaurants in Somerset, Gloucestershire, Bristol and Devon to come out on top at the February 2024 ceremony.
Andrew Cook, awards organiser and president of the National Federation of Fish Friers, said: “Congratulations to our five finalists - their unshakeable dedication to the food service industry has seen them reach the final stages and we couldn’t be happier for them.”

Björgvin Þór Björgvinsson, project manager for the category sponsor Seafood from Iceland, added: “The competitors have thoroughly impressed us all and deserve to be lauded for their contributions to the fish and chip industry.
"They are at the top of their game and Seafood from Iceland will follow them all closely to see how they continue to push the boundaries of fish and chip excellence going forward.”
