A man is to be sentenced for assaulting his former partner.
Stephen Goodley, 44, appeared at Norwich Crown Court on Wednesday when he pleaded guilty to wounding the woman in an incident at Pine Close, Thetford, on February 26 this year.
Goodley, from Wordsworth Green, Thetford, entered a not guilty plea to a separate charge of assaulting the same victim on September 24 this year.
Ian James, prosecuting, said the plea was acceptable and he would not be seeking a trial on the other matter.
Recorder Peter Guest adjourned sentencing until December 12 for a pre-sentence report to be carried out.
But he insisted "all options, including custody, remain open".
Goodley was represented in court by John Morgans.
