A former café and bank in Loddon is going up for auction with a guide price of £300,000.

The building in Church Plain was formerly The Terrace café but before was a Barclays bank which closed its doors in 2017.

The property has full planning permission to be converted and extended into six two-bedroom flats while keeping the café space below.

It sits within a conservation area and overlooks Holy Trinity Church.

Barclays cited declining numbers of counter transactions as the main reason for the branch's closure in 2017, also claiming just 153 people used the branch exclusively for their banking.

The auction is taking place at 11am on December 13 at Auction House East Anglia.
