A chef from Norfolk has reached the quarter-finals of MasterChef: The Professionals.
Tristan Esse, 26, grew up on a farm in Stow Bardolph, near King's Lynn, and is a private chef working for various clients.
During the show which aired on BBC One on Tuesday night, he wowed the judges with quail breast wrapped in wild garlic as his signature main.
But his twice-risen doughnut dessert was described as "a shame" by judge Marcus Wareing as the dish was not aerated enough.
After getting through to the next stage of the competition, Tristan said: "It was nerve-wracking, awesome and just a relief in the end.

"I know I didn't produce my best so I think I need to understand the judges' comments a bit.
"I need to learn from them and not produce that pudding again."
In the earlier skills challenge, contestants were tasked to produce a plate of cavatelli pasta with chicken oysters in just 20 minutes.
Tristan was praised for the uniformity of his pasta but was critiqued for the dish's overall appearance.
He will next feature on the show as a quarter-finalist in Thursday's episode which airs at 8pm on BBC One.
It comes after Dan Herbert, who works at The Harper Hotel in Langham, was knocked out of the competition last week.
