A section of the A47 near Norwich will be closed overnight for four nights this week.
The closure will affect the road for 2.2 miles from the Longwater junction in Costessey to the Fakenham Road junction in Easton.
Work to replace worn-out road markings and repaint white lines will see all lanes closed between 8pm and 6am from tonight until Friday.
There will also be closures in both directions from Toftwood Interchange in Dereham to the Norwich Road roundabout.
The flyover at the Hardwick junction in King's Lynn will also see closures.

The work comes as part of a greater scheme to improve the A47 from North Tuddenham to Easton which is expected to cost up to £250 million over the next several years.
National Highways says the road connects key economic growth areas of Norwich and it is currently unable to cope with the high traffic volume.
Two new junctions are proposed for Berry’s Lane and Wood Lane, and the second junction will be located at Blind Lane and Norwich Road.
