One of Great Yarmouth's best-loved pubs is on the market.

Known for its selection of ales and beer garden, The Kings Arms on Northgate Street is one of the town's favourite pubs.

With a 4.5 rating on Tripadvisor, the tavern has remained a popular haunt for many, whether it's for a family gettogether, Sunday roast or an England game.

Advertised with business transfer agents Humberstones as an "attractive and historic coastal tavern", The Kings Arms provides a single bar for 36 patrons, a dining room and an extensive sheltered garden large enough to sit over 120.

The pub remains open, with events including an open mic night planned for the next few weeks.

After hearing about the sale on Facebook, commenters said it was the "end of an era" and the "best pub in the world".

Another commenter said: "Very sad to see this. You both made it a great local pub."

In one year - until November 30, 2022 - the pub had sales of more than £400,000, excluding VAT.

The leasehold is available at £32,500.
