A man has appeared in court accused of making threats with a knife during an incident on the A140.
Richard Norris, 61, was said to have been on the Norwich to Cromer road at Banningham, near Aylsham, on April 17 when he wielded a Stanley knife at others.
Appearing at Norwich Magistrates’ Court he pleaded not guilty to threatening a person with a bladed article.
David Foulks, mitigating, said: “He denies both producing a knife and making threats.”
Norris, of Burton-on-Trent, Derbyshire, was told he will stand trial on February 29 next year.
