A man has been told all sentencing options are open after he admitted sexually assaulting a woman on the dancefloor of a nightclub.
Vasile Balea, 46, pleaded guilty to a single charge of intentionally touching the woman, who is half his age, without her consent.
Prosecutor Rima Bejum told Norwich Magistrates’ Court that the incident had occurred when he had been at Fluke nightclub on Prince of Wales Road in Norwich in the early hours of March 11 this year.
She said: “He was dancing with a 23-year-old woman on the dancefloor when he began touching her crotch through her clothing without her consent.”

Police were called after the woman had reported the incident and officers who had arrested him at the club had described him as being extremely drunk, she added.
Balea, who was speaking through a Romanian interpreter, gave the court an address in Edmonton in north London.
David Foulks, mitigating, said he had previously been of “good character.”
Magistrates ordered a pre-sentence report but warned Balea “all options are open”.
He will be sentenced on January 3.
