A football club has revealed plans for a hat-trick of new homes to fund a new pitch.
Wisbech Town FC has applied to develop land next to Fountain Fresh Park, on the Lynn Road at Walsoken.
It says in a planning statement the sale of the proposed plots will facilitate the installation of a "much needed artificial grass pitch". No figure is given for the cost of the new facility.

It says the new pitch will improve training facilities and be used more regularly than the club's existing training pitch, which is prone to water logging.
Two three-bed homes and a four-bed property are being proposed, which would be sited on either side of the existing access to the ground off Lynn Road, on land currently used by the club for parking.
The club says they will be "sympathetically designed to be in keeping with adjacent dwellings with a traditional frontage".
