Customers of a double glazing firm which collapsed last month will have their orders honoured following a deal with a Norfolk company.

Anglian Home Improvements, one of the region’s biggest businesses, purchased the order book of Bradford-headquartered Safestyle UK, which went into administration in October.

Customers had been advised their orders would not be honoured by the firm, but the new subcontractor arrangement will allow Anglian Home Improvements to complete all projects in full.

The business owners said this included customers who were mid-way through the installation process, as well as those who had booked an installation with the collapsed company.

Peter Mottershead, executive chairman of Anglian Home Improvements, said: “We were keen to support in what we know is a very difficult situation, and hope that this will go some way towards alleviating the concern and burden on those customers who have been impacted.

“Our customer service teams will be making contact with customers in the coming days and weeks to arrange completion of orders, prioritising those who were part-way through the installation process.”
