Motorists faced delays on the A11 near the Thickthorn roundabout following a two-vehicle crash.
The crash involved a car and a four-by-four and happened in the Norwich-bound lane, west of the A47.
The police were called out at 7.53am where they attended the scene for multiple hours.
Heavy traffic began to build with large tailbacks towards Wymondham reported. The traffic continued to build as the vehicles took hours to be recovered.
No injuries have been reported.
