A man in his 30s is in critical condition in hospital following an assault in a Norfolk town centre.
He was injured in an attack on King Street, in Thetford, at 7.45pm on Wednesday.
He was taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital with life-threatening head injuries.
A cordon was put in place while investigators were on scene.
A teenager has been arrested on suspicion of assault and has been taken to Wymondham Police Investigation Centre.
