A Norwich law firm said it had far outstripped its yearly target after seeing turnover increase by more than 70pc in some of its departments.
Howes Percival, which has an office in the city centre, grew its overall turnover to £31.3m in the past 12 months, up from £23m at the end of the previous financial year - an increase of 19pc.
Although growth was seen across all practice areas, the firm’s corporate, commercial, and banking departments saw the biggest increase, rising 75pc in the past three years.
As a result, the firm said it was looking to add 50 new jobs to its team, with roles including solicitors, HR specialists, and IT support staff.
Fayaz Sattar, chief financial officer, said: "This is a fantastic result, and I am pleased with our performance over the last financial year, given the wider economic situation in the UK.
“We had been targeting a figure just over £28m in 2023, so to have exceeded our plan quite significantly is testament to the efforts of the entire team."
