A busy town road will face more than a week of closures later this month for much-needed repairs.
"Essential" resurfacing work on London Street in Swaffham will be carried out from October 30 between its junctions with Pit Lane and Globe Hill.
The old road surface will be removed and replaced with a new asphalt surface, which will cost £77,000, and the work is expected to take eight days to complete.

A spokesman for Norfolk County Council said: "To reduce the impact on road users as much as possible, works have been planned to take place overnight and to reopen the road during the day.
"We will aim to keep any noisy work from taking place after 11pm to help minimise disturbances but please be aware that there will still be work taking place throughout the night."
London Street will be closed between 7pm and 6am and there will be a signed diversion route along London Street, Watton Road, Dereham Road and the A47.
