A man has been accused of holding another man captive and threatening him with a knife.
Daniel Howard, 46, appeared at Norwich Magistrates’ Court to face two charges after an incident at his flat on Humbleyard in the Clover Hill area of Norwich on July 12.
He declined to enter pleas.
Magistrates set a date at Norwich Crown Court on November 10 after being told the charge of false imprisonment was too serious for them to deal with.
He was given bail conditional on him not contacting emergency service except in a genuine emergency.
