A comedian has postponed his show in Norwich after a throat cancer diagnosis.
Mark Steel, who is best known for his BBC Radio Four show Mark Steel's in Town, had planned to perform at the Playhouse tonight (October 10).
But a statement posted to his website announced the rest of the tour would be postponed while he had an operation.

The 63-year-old wrote: "Around the middle of June I noticed that one side of my neck was much bigger than normal.
"I was shaving at the time, and had to look from several angles before I believed the mirror."
The comedian, who regularly appears on BBC One panel show Have I Got News for You, shared details of his journey, having tests and waiting for a clear diagnosis.
He insisted he did not blame the NHS or its staff for any setbacks, saying: "Many of them are paid appallingly and treated with contempt and their minister was sacked and went on I’m a Celebrity so don’t take out your frustrations on them."
He added: "The current estimate is that I should be able to start performing again in around six months."
