A woman three times over the drink drive limit was found parked in the middle of the carriageway on the A11.
Concerned motorists called police after seeing a Honda Civic crawling along at less than half the speed limit on the northbound side of the dual carriageway near Wymondham.
But when officers arrived on the scene in the early hours of September 17 they had found Santa Franceva, 33, at the wheel of the car which had stopped completely in live traffic.

Denise Holland, prosecuting, said she had earlier been seen swerving between lanes at an estimated 35mph.
Other drivers had feared that her erratic driving would cause a serious accident.
Norwich Magistrates’ Court was told that after being arrested she had blown a reading of 97mg of alcohol in her breath - the legal limit is 35.
Appearing at court, Franceva, of Honeysuckle Way in Attleborough, pleaded guilty to drink driving.
Magistrates said the breath test reading was so high that they had to ban her from driving for two years.
They also made her subject of a 12 month community order that requires her to carry out 60 hours of unpaid work.
She was also ordered to pay costs of £219.

Andrew Spence, mitigating, said the single-mother of two young children, who moved to the UK from Latvia, had made a “terrible error of judgement”.
“She had had no intention of driving on this occasion however she received messages from her ex-partner and very foolishly she then decided to get behind the wheel of her car with the intention of driving to speak to him face-to-face,” he said.
“This is something completely out of character for her and that she is extremely sorry about and ashamed of.”
