Parking charges are set to be scrapped at two West Norfolk beaches from next month.
Drivers currently pay West Norfolk council between £2 to park for an hour and £6 for all day Heacham South and Heacham North beaches
But free parking comes into force on both sites on Wednesday, November 1.
From then until February 28, 2024, visitors can enjoy both beaches for free.
While both are the subject of concerns over water quality and warnings not to bathe, they remain popular with walkers and dog owners, offering views across the Wash and glimpses of the estuary's famous wildlife.
And both are west-facing, meaning they are among a handful of sites in Norfolk where you can watch the sunset over the sea.
