A new restaurant has opened at a Norfolk whisky distillery after a successful trial weekend.
The Grain Kitchen at The English Distillery in Roudham, near Thetford, opened on Monday.
The restaurant has been taken on by Lucy and Grant Newland after its previous occupant, OakVilla, closed in April 2022.
Mrs Newland said: "This weekend has been above and beyond what we could've hoped for.
"Customers have been paying extra to support us, everyone has been so generous.

"We couldn't ask for anything more."
While the couple has kept much of the restaurant's previous interior design, they have brought in a brand-new menu and team of staff.
The menu features coffee and cakes as well as roast dinners and full English breakfasts.
Mrs Newland added: "It's a friendly, welcoming space that needs to be full of great people.
"Hospitality is in a bit of a mess at the moment and if local people want us here we need to be supported."
Mr and Mrs Newland are hoping to extend their opening hours heading into the Christmas period and have plans to develop a retail space in the building.
The Grain Kitchen is open from 9am to 4pm every day of the week.
