A Caister man will pay tribute to his stepfather by walking barefoot across Norfolk.
Bus driver Simon Taylor aims to raise funds for a charity which assists people with motor neurone disease (MND), the condition which led to his stepdad's death.
Les White died on July 24, only three years after contracting the life-limiting illness.
Mr Taylor is raising funds for the Norfolk, Norwich and Waveney Branch of the Motor Neurone Disease Association.
Inspired by the determination his stepfather showed in his fight against MND,"The goal is £500," said Mr Taylor.
"And I aim to deliver the funds to the association by walking barefoot."
Mr Taylor described Mr White as a superb father, husband, and role model, who was also an excellent carpenter with experience building props for BBC shows including EastEnders.
Despite being active throughout his life, Mr Taylor said his stepfather "did struggle" in the end.
"But the MND Association supported my mum and my stepfather with various bits of equipment, support, carers, nurses communication and were just fantastic," Mr Taylor said.
"I just want to give something back."
