Pretty Corner Tea Garden reopens in Sheringham after 3 years

Pretty Corner Tea Garden in Sheringham has been taken on by a new owner after closing down in the wake of the coronavirus lockdowns in March 2020.

Marina Baker reopened the tea garden to the public on Saturday (September 30) and its menu includes a variety of homemade cakes and quiches as well as hot drinks.

"They're so happy to see it open again and have so many happy memories.

"It's a huge sense of responsibility but I relish it, I love serving people and it's a community space."

The tea room is set within two acres of garden and woodland and borders the further 165 acres of Pretty Corner Woods.

She added: "It's about engaging the community through nature and promoting health and well-being. 

"It's a new venture in an old space."

The tea room will be open for one weekend a month with a view to increase its opening hours in the new year. 

Pretty Corner Tea Garden will next be open to the public on October 28 and October 29.
