A number of planned roadworks and closures are taking place across Norfolk this month that are expected to cause delays for motorists.
Key roads including the A47 will remain affected by restrictions as major schemes continue into the coming weeks.
Here are some of the roadworks that you should be aware of this month.
1. A47 Necton
Work to improve the safety at the junctions of Tuns Road and Dunham Road on the A47 in Necton began late last month and is expected to take until February to complete.
As part of the work, the A47 between the Norwich Road roundabout in Swaffham and the A1075 in Dereham will need to be closed on weeknights between 8pm and 6am, and in some instances for entire weekends.
National Highways say the redeveloped junction will be "safer, smoother and better defined".
2. Drayton High Road
Work has started at the junction of Drayton High Road, including sections of Low Road, Costessey Lane and Taverham Road.
The works, which will cost £77,000, will replace the existing worn-out road surface and are expected to take five nights to complete.
The resurfacing will be taking place overnight between the hours of 7pm and 6am and roads will be opened under a temporary 20mph speed limit during the day.
3. Breydon Bridge
The A47 at Breydon Bridge and the A149 Acle New Road in Great Yarmouth will be closed for at least five days from 8pm until 6am this week.
As work continues on the £7.5m redevelopment of Breydon Bridge on the River Yare, the road will be out of action every night until the morning of October 6.
Breydon Bridge's lifting system will also be tested between 10am and 2.30pm between October 9 and October 12.
Traffic lights will be in place while this happens.
4. A47 Postwick
Two lanes will be closed on the Postwick Bridge, which crosses the A47, to allow maintenance teams to conduct investigations of damage to the surface of the bridge deck.
The lane closures will remain in place while the investigations are carried out and this is set to take at least four weeks.
5. Sweet Briar Road
Drayton High Road and Sweet Briar Road will face restrictions while maintenance work is undertaken.
Starting from October 9, there will be two five-night closures and a 20mph speed restriction.
The restrictions will be in force from October 9 to October 13 and October 16 to October 20, from 8pm to 6am.
