A historic school building has hit the market six years after it closed.
The former Fakenham Academy building in Wells Road has gone up for sale after the sixth form relocated to Field Lane.
The Grade-II Listed property features former classrooms and a swimming pool and sits within more than six acres of land.
The Wells Road site is situated north of the town centre within a predominantly residential area.
The Georgian building has been in disuse since the academy decided to merge its high school and sixth form in 2017.
the principal of Fakenham Academy at the time, said: "As much as we are all very fond of the historic Wells Road building, it sadly no longer provides a suitable environment in which to learn and costs a huge amount to maintain.

A number of uses for the building have been proposed over the past the years including a plan to transform it intoFirst built in 1823, the building was converted into an all-boys secondary school one hundred years later in September 1923.
It then became Fakenham Grammar School in 1944.
The former Fakenham Academy in Wells Road has gone up for sale with Brown & Co Norwich and the price is available on application.
