A Norfolk beach has been named one of the 10 best to visit with your dog this autumn.
Holkham beach, near Wells-Next-The-Sea, has been included in a national ranking by sustainable dog brand Tangle.
Holkham welcomes dogs all year round but between April 1 and August 31 they must be kept on leads in cordoned areas to protect breeding shorebirds.
Xavier Warburton, founder of Tangle, recommended Holkham for its size and appeal to an array of canine senses.
He said: "This beach is a mile wide when the tide is out, so there’s plenty of space for running and playing in the sand.
"For double the fun, pine woods are located next to the beach, making it ideal for squirrel spotting, rifling through autumn leaves and enjoying different scents.

"It’s great for humans too, as it’s an area of outstanding natural beauty so bring binoculars along for the chance of spotting seals and sea birds."
It is not the first time Holkham's dog-friendliness has been recognised, in August the PDSA ranked it in the top seven UK beaches for pooches.
Other beaches in the Tangle list included Hornsea in Yorkshire, Cleethorpes in Lincolnshire, Widemouth Bay in Cornwall and Coldingham Bay in South Scotland.
