Loose Women star Janet Street-Porter celebrated the opening of a new retirement community with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The celebrity guest led the grand opening of Waveney Place, Harleston's newest elderly living development last Thursday (September 21).
Guests at the event heard first-hand from Street-Porter about her "extensive" career, with attendees also able to take a tour of the homes as well as take part in a meet and greet.
The TV star said: "I was delighted to be invited to Waveney Place for the grand opening, it was so wonderful to meet with all the homeowners and their guests and an absolute joy to be a part of the celebrations here in Harleston."

Shared facilities on-site include a communal lounge, landscaped gardens and a hotel-style guest suite for overnight visitors.
Jane Mayhew, area sales manager at McCarthy Stone, added: "The opening was a fantastic occasion and our guests thoroughly enjoyed meeting Janet and learning more about her fascinating career both on and off-screen.
"The event was a great success, and, on behalf of the team and our homeowners, we'd like to say a huge thank you to Janet for making it such a memorable experience for our guests."
