Mercy, in Prince of Wales Road, opened in October 2003, with celebrity guest Katie Price, then Jordan, and was Norwich's first 'super club', considered to be the hub of the city's nightlife.

It later saw guest appearances from JLS and Jason Donovan - competing with nearby Time in Riverside.

The club closed in March 2018 and the building is currently being transformed into flats.
