A woman is to stand trial accused of the theft of embalming equipment from a Norfolk funeral home.
Sian Jacobs, 49, appeared at Norwich Crown Court having been charged with theft between March 27 and December 23 2022 in that she stole embalming equipment belonging to Rosedale Funeral Home in Diss.
She has also been charged with using a copy of a false instrument, namely an embalming certificate, with intent on April 4 2022.
Jacobs, of Samson and Hercules Court, Waggon and Horses Lane, near Tombland, Norwich pleaded not guilty to both offences when she appeared in court on Wednesday (September 20).
A trial date of December 9 next year was fixed.
She was granted bail.
