A favourite bakery chain is to set up home in a much-loved north Norfolk hotel as new owners take over.
The Dial House, in Reepham, will be taken over by James and Tom Ellis, formerly of Original Cottages in Reepham, and Steve Winter, founder of Bread Source.
After hitting the market this time last year, the new owners will continue to run the hotel with eight uniquely decorated bedrooms, while downstairs will become home to a new Bread Source cafe and shop.
The "unique" 17th century building, which is Grade II listed and was originally built as a brewery, was on sale for £1.6m.
It has been run by Hannah Springham and Andrew Jones, of Norwich's Farmyard restaurant, who took over the business in 2018.
In a heartfelt post on social media, they said: "The time has come to hand over the keys to this beautiful place. It’s been a rollercoaster of a ride and we wouldn’t change a moment.
"We’ve employed a team of wonderful humans, enjoyed laughter with so many guests, been part of some epic wedding days, filmed TOWIE here, stroked many friendly dogs, won a few awards and been
"We’ve also had to weather the storm of covid and frightening cost rises, just like all of our friends running their own hospitality businesses have done too, but sharing special moments with both our team and our guests has always given us strength.
"Thank you for the memories and for being part of our epic journey.
"Love Andrew and Hannah and all the team at The Dial House.
"Thank you and goodnight."
The restaurant will be closed while part of the building is renovated.
The rooms and The Country Salon hairdresser will be unaffected during this time.
