A bungalow could be demolished to make way for eight new homes.
Developers named in council papers as Mr and Mrs Cage have applied to Fenland council for outline permission to knock down the property to make way for eight new properties off the A1101 Fridaybridge Road in Elm, near Wisbech.
A planning statement says Number 7, The Stitch, would be removed to provide access for the new development of single-storey homes, which would be built in pairs behind existing homes on The Stitch.

It says its proposed layout, with a new access road, will provide "significant site separation between the proposed and existing dwellings".
It adds the proposals will make "a positive contribution" to Elm, adding: "The site is located within a sustainable settlement close to services and facilities, and in close proximity to the market town of Wisbech."
