A serious crash on the A11 in the early hours has prompted a police appeal for witnesses.

Officers were called to the Stag roundabout at Attleborough at 12.25am this morning (September 18) following reports of a single-vehicle crash involving a black Tesla Model 3 that had rolled onto its roof.

The road was closed while emergency services including fire and police dealt with the incident.

The driver of the vehicle, a woman in her 30s, suffered serious injuries and was taken to Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.

The road was partially reopened at 4.46am before being fully reopened around 7.30am.

Officers would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who has relevant dashcam footage.
