A convicted sex offender was found with more than 1,100 indecent images and videos of young children when police raided his home.
Officers visited Martin Smith, 44, at his property in Great Yarmouth in March 2021, where they found the images on a mobile phone and computer.
John Morgans, prosecuting, told Norwich Crown Court a total of 15 images and 11 videos from category A - the most serious - were found.
Smith, of Paget Road, Yarmouth appeared at court on Friday (September 15) having admitted three counts of making indecent images of children.
Andrew Oliver, mitigating, said Smith, should be given credit for his pleas and that he was "deeply ashamed as to what he's done".
Recorder Andrew McLoughlin imposed a 16-month jail sentence, suspended for two years.
Smith must also undertake 20 days rehabilitation activity requirement (RAR) and an accredited programme for up to two years.
He was also made the subject of a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO) for 10 years and put on the sex offenders register for 10 years.
