A town's law firm which was first established in 1790 has expanded its property team.
Sprake & Kingsley, based in Bungay, has appointed a new associate solicitor, Clare Gissing, to its team.
She arrives with ten years of residential conveyancing experience and says she is excited to play her part in the future growth of the firm.
The new arrival said: “The firm’s name has always been synonymous with great client service and there’s a palpable sense of ambition under new managing partner, Karen Phillips.
"I knew it was a great place to work because a former colleague, Anna Farquharson, joined Sprake & Kingsley just under a year ago as one of three new partners.
"So when the opportunity arose to join the team, I jumped at the chance.”

Specialist legal services are offered in the following sectors - residential and commercial property, private client (tax planning, trusts, estates, elderly law) and family.
Ms Phillips, managing partner of the firm, said: “When I took over as managing partner in October last year, I had been with the firm for over twenty years and witnessed first-hand what it takes to run a successful law firm.
"It’s a privilege to have been chosen to help write the next chapter in Sprake & Kingsley’s long history and I’m committed to building on the fantastic work already done by David Sprake and Nick Kingsley.
"Clare’s appointment is part of this ambition. As an instinctive, highly personable property lawyer, she’s one of the very best and we’re thrilled that she has chosen to join our team.”
The firm has five partners and 32 staff and was established, though under a different name, in Bungay in 1790 and became Sprake & Kingsley in 1992.
Both the great-grandfather, grandfather and father of David Sprake, who was the managing partner until September 2022 and is currently a consultant, were involved in the firm.
