A one-year-old female lurcher who was found in a ditch three weeks ago is looking to be rehomed with a family in Norfolk.
Jessie is up for adoption with Norfolk Greyhound Rescue after being fostered by a woman who found her dumped in a ditch "feeling very scared and confused".
According to the rescue, Jessie is very shy when she first meets you but will learn to trust in time.

She is around a year old and enjoys living with other dogs, but is relatively small at 22 inches "to the shoulder".
Norfolk Greyhound Rescue said of Jessie: "I don't like to be shut away, it scares me. So, no crates.
"I love to be with you, so I'd like my next mum and dad to be at home most of the time.
"No one ever taught me any manners so I'll need someone to teach me how I should behave living indoors.
"My foster mum is also showing me how to be good with my toilets. I'm getting the hang of it, but still needs a bit of fine-tuning.

"I think I would be better in a home with someone who will give me space and time, and all the love I have ever wanted, my world so far has been a cruel one."
Jessie is not cat-friendly and may take some time to become accustomed to children. She will be available for homing in five to six weeks as she needs spaying and vaccinating.
