A 61-year-old man who died at a Norfolk hospital had recently had Covid, a court has been told.
An inquest into the death of Gary Gibbins, of Highfield, King's Lynn, was opened at Norfolk Coroner’s Court this week.
It heard how Mr Gibbons died at the nearby Queen Elizabeth Hospital on December 11, 2022.
At the inquest opening, the medical cause of his death was given as a heart attack and comorbidities with chronic kidney disease, a recent Covid infection, influenza, and Nephrotic Syndrome.

Senior coroner, Jacqueline Lake, said that his daughter, Olivia Gibbins, had confirmed his particulars via a statement.
Gary Alistair Gibbins, who was unemployed at his time of death, was born on May 15, 1961, in Bromley, London.
The inquest to determine his official cause of death will take place in February next year.
