A car showroom is set to be demolished and replaced by housing and shops.
West Norfolk council has agreed planning permission for the redevelopment of the Favorit Motor Company, on London Road, King's Lynn.
A planning statement said the proposals included two two-bed townhouses, two four-bed townhouses, five one-bed apartments, six two-bed apartments and two commercial units.
The site will be accessed from Hospital Walk, with a new access proposed off London Road.

It added: "The proposal has been designed to enhance and preserve the character of the area and have minimal impact on the surrounding street scene."
Earlier plans were amended, with windows being altered after concerns were raised over privacy.
The statement said the development was sustainable "due to its proximity to amenities such as public transport, shops, job opportunities, hospitals and schools".
It adds the development does not need parking for the same reasons.
