A Loose Women star will cut the ribbon on a brand-new retirement community in Norfolk later this month.
Janet Street-Porter is set to lead the grand opening of Waveney Place, a 60-home development for the retired, in Harleston on September 21.
The former newspaper editor will hold a talk on her life as "one of Britain's most prominent media personalities" and tell stories about her career before performing a ceremonial ribbon cutting.
Prospective buyers aged 60 and over are invited to join the event where they can tour a show apartment and hear from developers McCarthy Stone about the homes on offer.

Jane Mayhew, area sales manager for McCarthy Stone, said: "We're delighted to be able to welcome Janet Street-Porter to officially open our fabulous new development in Harleston.
"Our low-maintenance, energy-efficient properties allow homeowners to enjoy their independence, with the added benefit of communal areas for socialising with neighbours."
Those wanting to attend the event, which starts at midday and ends at 3pm, are required to book in advance.
In 2019, the television personality revealed she had moved to Thurlton in Norfolk in search of a "good life in the countryside".
