A new home could be built next to a town's former Methodist chapel.
A developer named in planning papers as Mr S Welcomme has applied to build on land next to the chapel on Bridge Street, Downham Market.
A planning statement says the site is currently disused and overgrown, adding the "high quality development will enhance the site and the surrounding area".

Plans submitted to West Norfolk Council show a five-bed, three-storey property, with dormer windows set into its roof.
It would be set back from the pavement behind a wall with railings.
A garden would be created between the chapel and the new property, which would be built on the western side of the site.
The planning statement concludes: "The proposal significantly improves the existing disused site both materially and visually."
