Music lovers flocked to the Norfolk Showground for one of the county's biggest festivals this weekend, with plenty of special guests making surprise appearances.

Among the big-name acts at Sundown Festival across the weekend were Tion Wayne, Chase & Status and Mae Muller of Eurovision fame.

Sundown's name signals the end of summer, but revellers refused to let the autumn blues stop them as they danced at the stages underneath an unusually hot September sun.

Highlights included Tion Wayne's main stage spectacular where he performed hits such as Body and brought out special guests - group NSG for a rendition of Options which reached number seven on the UK's singles chart in 2019.

Chase & Status closed with their Sunday night set with a mix of classics and newer anthems such as Baddadan, with special effects including confetti and pyrotechnics to create an exciting atmosphere.

But here were some changes to the original lineup, with award-winning DJ Nia Archives a no-show.

Sundown Festival posted on Instagram saying: "We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful moment with you guys.

"Hybrid Minds performing the timeless Touch during golden hour on our main stage, it really doesn't get much better than this."
