An inquest into the death of a teenager whose body was found in his family’s back garden in north Norfolk will be heard next year. 

George Corson was discovered at his home off Hall Road in Irstead, near Wroxham, on Wednesday, February 22.  

The 19-year-old had not been seen by his parents for almost 12 hours, from around 10.50pm the night before.  

He was found deceased the next morning in the family's back garden.

The inquest was first opened at Norfolk Coroner’s Court in Norwich on Friday, March 3. 

Speaking at the time, assistant coroner Simon Mulburn confirmed that the teenager had been born in Moscow, Russia, and that his medical cause of death was given as hanging. 

A full inquest into his death has been scheduled to take place on Friday, February 16, 2024.
