A food company has been given the go-ahead for a major redevelopment of its site.
Fenland Council has agreed planning permission for 6,000 sqm of new cold storage, warehousing and offices on Del Monte's site in Wisbech.
A planning statement said the facility would be built alongside Del Monte's existing buildings off Weasenham Lane and replace a warehouse in Corby, Northamptonshire, eliminating the need for daily HGV trips between the two.
A transport statement said: "Del Monte are looking to undertake this development to reduce the number of vehicle miles undertaken in their packaging process, and to generally reduce time and improve efficiency."

A planning officer's report said the company is "a key local employer", employing 900 people.
It concludes: "Expansion of this important local employer and greater investment in the district is welcomed.
"It is considered to benefit the local community and Fenland residents as a whole."
The council's business and economy team said the development will generate additional business rates for the council and help to embed a major employer in Fenland.
Wisbech Town Council supported the development.
