A huge crane has been catching the eye of shoppers and drivers passing by a retail park on the edge of the city.
The Sainsbury's supermarket at Longwater in Costessey has brought in the major construction machine for work to improve the store's energy efficiency.
It remains open as usual and the crane - which can be seen from the A47 - is understood to be needed for lifting heavy refrigeration units into place.
A Sainsbury’s spokeswoman said: “We’re constantly investing in our store estate to ensure we provide the best experience we can to the communities we serve.

“We’d like to thank customers of our Longwater store for their support and patience while we make some upgrades to our store.”
William Frost Way has seen changes in the last few months with a new Aldi store opening just a few weeks ago, as well as new road barriers while the wait for a new pedestrian and cycling crossing continues.
The Sainsbury's supermarket opened at Longwater back in 1997.
Major work to expand the store was carried out in 2010.
