More dolphins have been spotted in Norfolk - this time in the River Great Ouse.

Charlie Racher spotted the sight just after 6pm last night (August 29) at Cross Bank Road in King's Lynn, and caught the moment on camera.

The animals can be seen coming in and out of the water as a pair, as they come up for air.

Early this morning (August 30) they were spotted in the water by Downham Market as the tide was coming in.

The River Great Ouse travels inland from the North Sea and through King's Lynn.

More commonly seen off the coast of Cornwall or west Scotland, dolphins are a rare sight in Norfolk with previous sightings being few and far between.

It comes just weeks after a pod of bottlenose dolphins were spotted off the Norfolk coast.

A spokesman for EIFCA confirmed that the dolphins approached them near Blakeney and followed them to Cley for an hour on Monday, August 14.
