An assault and threats of violence at a flat in Great Yarmouth have led to a ban on people being there following a court order.
At a hearing, Great Yarmouth Magistrates’ Court granted a three-month Full Closure Order on the property in Isabella Square after serious anti-social behaviour.
The closure means no one – including the tenant – can remain in the property. Breaching this can result in a prison sentence or an unlimited fine.

Securing the order required a multi-agency approach involving police and local residents.
Councillor Graham Plant, deputy leader of Great Yarmouth Borough Council said: “I’d like to thank Norfolk Police for their ongoing support to help our tenancy services team reduce anti-social behaviour in our communities."
PC Dale Chusonis, of Norfolk Police, said: "This is a great win for the community and hopefully shows perpetrators that anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated."
